Cat accessories are items that can be used as a distinguishing element for a pet. Much like an army member wears a dog tag; the same can be done with a cat. A collar can be used to attach a tag to a pet giving the name and other important information in the event of a lost animal.

Cat accessories can be a number of different things including clothing. People who live in cool climates often purchase items such as a sweater or booties to keep their cat warm during the cold months. It is essential that this be done for the protection of the animal and to prevent sickness.

Cat accessories are a way for owners to care for and pamper their pets. Much like a necklace is an accessory for humans, a rhinestone studded collar assumes the same role for a pet. From a personalized water dish to a designer carrying bag, each can be created to fit the characteristics of the pet, as well as the owner.
